Counselling

Retreats can unearth profound matters related to our lives, in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual realms.

Generally there is almost always a need for processing and integration work after retreats. In many ways, the work of retreat also begins when you leave the space and go back to your “regular” life.

For those that are interested, we offer counselling sessions for the purpose of processing the experiences brought up during the retreat. Sometimes people like to have one session prior to the retreat, to check in and go over their healing intentions; and then to hold more sessions after. In counselling, we also offer recommendations around how to translate the learnings that emerge during the retreat, such that we can make lasting changes in our lives.

If you are interested in counselling, please fill out our contact form to get the process started.

Standards of Practice

At Healing Journeys, we care deeply about the well-being of potential participants and the community at large.

Therefore, to learn more about our approach, our philosophy of care, and our professional standards, we invite you to read our Standards of Practice.

We also ask that all potential participants in our retreats, read our Standards of Practice so they are clear on matters related to boundaries, conduct, confidentiality, diversity, and integrity in healing practices. To obtain a copy of this document please e-mail us at info@healingjourneys.ca

listen to it.”
